Young Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 40th district, often shares updates on her activities and community engagements through social media. Her recent posts highlight her interactions with local leaders and her office’s efforts to connect constituents with federal resources.

On April 15, 2025, Young Kim expressed gratitude towards Dr. Thomas Parham, President of California State University, Dominguez Hills, for meeting with her. She thanked Dr. Parham for updating her on the university’s efforts to support Southern California students.

The following day, on April 16, 2025, Kim announced that her team would hold Mobile Office Hours at the Chino Hills City Clerk’s Office. The event aims to assist community members in navigating bureaucracy and obtaining federal assistance.

Later that day, Kim’s office celebrated a local business reopening. On April 16, 2025, she tweeted about the grand re-opening of Buffalo Wild Wings in Aliso Viejo, where Team Young participated in the celebrations alongside community members.

Young Kim has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing former member Gil Cisneros. Born in South Korea in 1962 and now residing in La Habra, she holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California.
