Premium gas was sold at the lowest price of $5.69 per gallon at one gas station in Orange County during the week ending May 16, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, premium gas averaged $6.49 per gallon.
Of the 599 reported gas stations located within Orange County, 507 offered premium gas.
Across California, the average reported price for a gallon of premium gas rose to $6.47, compared to the week before.
