On Friday, March 13, Halle Si’i—formerly of Capistrano Valley Christian School—helped her college team, the Vanguard Lions, defeat the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles 79-75 during the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The game, played at Nicholson Arena with a 7:30 p.m. tipoff, marked the Lions’ first tournament contest against Cal State Los Angeles.
The Vanguard Lions are scheduled for their next game at Nicholson Arena, set for Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m.
