Former Capistrano Valley Christian School standout Halle Si’i and the Vanguard Lions were defeated 81-73 by the Central Washington Wildcats in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.

The opening round game was held at Nicholson Arena, tipping off at 7:30 p.m. This marked Vanguard’s first encounter with Central Washington in tournament play.
