On Saturday, March 14, the Vanguard Lions, featuring former San Juan Hills High School standout Aryanna Hudson, were defeated 81-73 by the Central Washington Wildcats in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest was held at Nicholson Arena at 7:30 p.m. and marked the Lions’ first meeting with the Central Washington Wildcats in tournament play.
