On Sunday, April 27, former Santa Margarita Catholic High School standout Jake Lavin’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The game took place at Frank Eck Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium against San Francisco Dons.
