On Sunday, April 27, former Mission Viejo High School standout Scotty Young’s current college team, the Old Dominion Monarchs, won 9-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

The game took place at Lou St. Amant Field. This was their third matchup against the Warhawks this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at Bud Metheny Ballpark against Marshall Thundering Herd.
