Former Santa Margarita Catholic High School standout Charlie Lapp played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Santa Margarita Catholic High School standout Charlie Lapp’s current collegiate team the RPI Engineers lost 5-6 against the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Babb Field at Stromberg Stadium at 2:40 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors in the tournament.

The RPI Engineers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Babb Field at Stromberg Stadium.
