Young Kim, a U.S. Congress member representing California's 40th district, has been actively engaging with various stakeholders on key issues as demonstrated in her recent tweets.

On May 15, 2025, Young Kim expressed gratitude towards the California Medical Association for their collaboration as Congress works to enhance Medicaid services. She stated, "Thank you to the CA Medical Association for meeting with me as Congress works to protect and strengthen Medicaid for our most vulnerable Americans. I appreciate all that you do to provide quality care in our community."

The following day, on May 16, 2025, Kim highlighted the importance of supporting American businesses in international markets. She shared her inquiry at a House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting: "The U.S. government should support American businesses in gaining market access & competing internationally. I asked at @HouseForeignGOP how we can better assist U.S. entrepreneurs & level the playing field."

Later that day, she met with Riverside city officials including Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson and Councilmember Steven Robillard to discuss legislative priorities such as surface transportation and tax credits. She tweeted, "Great to see @riversidecagov Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson, Councilmember Steven Robillard, & City Manager Mike Futrell to discuss the surface transportation authorization bill, tax priorities, & preserving the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit expansion. Thanks for coming by!"

Young Kim has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Gil Cisneros and previously held office in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2016.
