Young Kim, a U.S. Congresswoman representing California's 40th district, recently shared insights on various topics through her social media posts. Her tweets highlighted meetings and discussions related to law enforcement benefits, healthcare support, and foreign policy strategy.

On May 16, 2025, Young Kim stated that she met with the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) during Police Week to discuss benefits for police officers. She expressed her commitment to supporting law enforcement personnel by stating: "I met with @PORACalifornia during #PoliceWeek to discuss ensuring our brave police receive the benefits they have rightfully earned keeping our communities safe. I’ll always support our men and women in law enforcement."

On May 17, 2025, Kim tweeted about a visit from UCI Health representatives to her office as Congress focuses on strengthening health programs. She conveyed her appreciation for their contributions by writing: "UCI Health came by my office this week as Congress works to protect & strengthen key health programs. Grateful for their work to support our community’s needs."

Later on the same day, Young Kim addressed issues concerning U.S. foreign policy and economic statecraft. She noted the challenges posed by multiple entities lacking a coherent strategy and mentioned efforts by the House Foreign Affairs Committee to improve agency consolidation and taxpayer dollar utilization: "U.S. foreign policy should always advance our economic & national security interests. However, with so many different entities, economic statecraft can lack a coherent strategy. @HouseForeignGOP is working to consolidate agencies & better use America's taxpayer dollars."

Young Kim has been serving in Congress since replacing Gil Cisneros in 2021 after previously serving in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2016.
