This tweet highlights her perspective on maintaining ethical standards and transparency within governmental operations.
Later that day, she honored law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. On Peace Officers Memorial Day, she wrote "we honor & remember the brave men & women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving & protecting our communities." She emphasized that their dedication will not be forgotten.
In another post from May 15, Kim paid tribute to Ursula Ellen Kennedy for her groundbreaking role as both a City Council member and Mayor of Tustin. She highlighted Kennedy's challenge against societal norms during her time by saying "At a time when women were expected to stay home, she challenged societal limits & showed that women & girls can do anything." Kim expressed pride in honoring Kennedy’s contributions to the Tustin community.
