On April 28, 2025, Young Kim announced the passage of the Hotel Fees Transparency Act in the House, stating, "GOOD NEWS: the Hotel Fees Transparency Act passed the House to prohibit unfair or misleading price advertising & require accurate price listing of short-term lodging such as hotels & inns. Americans shouldn’t be burdened by costly fees."

Later the same day, in a more personalized message tweeted on April 28, 2025, Kim expressed gratitude towards her constituents and encouraged those visiting the nation's capital to contact her office, as she stated, "My team loved welcoming constituents in town from CA-40 last week!
