Young Kim, a long-serving public official, replaced former U.S. Congress member Gil Cisneros. She previously served in the California State Assembly and has connections to Southern California, both educational and residential. Kim graduated from the University of Southern California in 1985 with a BBA and was born in Incheon, South Korea in 1962. She currently lives in La Habra.
