Young Kim, a U.S. Congress representative from California’s 40th district, made several remarks on social media addressing important topics ranging from blockchain technology to national observances. Below is a summary of her statements posted in early April 2025.

On April 5, Young Kim emphasized the benefits of blockchain technology for increasing transparency and reducing cybercrime in the U.S., stating, "Blockchain means more transparency & less cybercrime for American consumers. Through blockchain, we can easily track & monitor bad actors like Huione Group, resulting in safer transactions than traditional forms of payment."

Additionally, on April 5, Kim acknowledged Gold Star Spouses Day, expressing gratitude towards those who lost their spouses while serving the nation. She stated, "On Gold Star Spouses Day, our hearts are with those who lost their spouse in the line of duty in defense of our nation’s freedoms. We are ALWAYS so grateful for the service & sacrifice of our service members & their families. Thank you."

On April 6, Kim addressed the issue of cryptocurrency sanctions in relation to cybercriminal activity. She pointed out the necessity for effective enforcement, noting, "Cryptocurrency sanctions have proven to be most effective in hand with enforcement. I asked how we can ensure sanctions against cybercriminals hit hard & are effective in this week’s @HouseFinServGOP hearing."
