Young Kim visits Kaiser Permanente, robotics leaders, and discusses USAGM reform

Young Kim, a U.S. Congress member representing California’s 40th district, has shared several updates on her recent activities via social media. Her posts covered a visit to a medical center, a roundtable discussion with industry leaders, and an interview concerning national security.

In a March 30, 2025, post, Kim acknowledged the efforts of healthcare workers at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Anaheim. She stated, "Great visit the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Anaheim to see firsthand the incredible work being done by their dedicated healthcare professionals. Thank you to the entire team for your commitment to providing high quality care for our community."

On the following day, March 31, 2025, she reported on a roundtable with robotics companies and industry leaders. She remarked, "Had a great roundtable with U.S. robotics companies & industry leaders to explore innovation, challenges, & China’s growing influence in the robotics field. To stay competitive, America must lead the way in technological innovation."

Later, on March 31, 2025, Kim also participated in a 60 Minutes interview, discussing the need for reforms to USAGM platforms to combat disinformation. She claimed, "I sat down with @60Minutes to discuss why we should reform USAGM platforms to protect our national security. We're in an information war. If the truth is not broadcast around the world, we are losing, and disinformation by our adversaries fills the void."
