Congressman Darrell Issa of California's 48th District has announced the acceptance of submissions for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. This event offers high school students within his district the opportunity to showcase their artworks. Selected pieces will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

Congressman Issa remarked, “The annual Congressional Art Competition is a great opportunity for local high-school students to highlight their incredible artistic talents on a national platform. The winning artistic entry will be displayed at the U.S. capitol for visitors to see. And, the second-place entry will be highlighted for guests in my local California office.”

Participants can find submission guidelines on the congressman's official website. Entries require a high-resolution photograph (JPEG or PNG format) of the artwork and a completed 2025 Student Release Form. These should be sent to Steven Farmer, a member of Issa's staff, via email to Steven.Farmer@mail.house.gov by noon on Friday, April 25, 2025.

For further inquiries, Steven Farmer can be contacted through the provided email or at 760-304-7575.
