Young Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 40th District, recently posted a series of updates on Twitter addressing significant issues ranging from community development to international relations. The tweets reflect her ongoing legislative efforts and community engagements.

In a tweet dated March 28, 2025, Kim discussed a recent meeting with the Asian American Outreach Council. She stated, "Productive meeting with the @WeAreAAOC discussing affordable housing, opportunities for growth, & solutions to meet the needs of our community. Thanks for stopping by!"

On the same day, addressing international concerns, Kim posted about Taiwan's geopolitical situation, suggesting potential solutions to ongoing challenges. She mentioned, "As Xi Jinping continues to isolate Taiwan from the outside world, strengthening economic engagement is a win-win for our Taiwanese friends & for U.S. jobs & national security. I'm working to do exactly that with @RepMoolenaar & @CongressmanRaja "

Later, Kim expressed gratitude for those who participated in an important seminar focused on combating human trafficking, a critical issue in Southern California. She wrote, "Human trafficking is modern-day slavery that unfortunately happens right here in our SoCal backyard. Thank you to all who joined me, the OC Sheriff's Department & @YorbaLindaCity Mayor Janice Lim for a seminar on best practices to fight this horrific crime & keep our community"
