Young Kim, a Congress member representing California's 40th district, expressed her recent initiatives and views on various critical issues through a series of social media posts. These tweets, all dated March 27, 2025, convey her engagement in legislative affairs and support for government workers.

On March 27, 2025, Young Kim thanked the House Veterans Affairs Committee for inviting her to discuss the "Improving VA Training for Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Claims Act". She noted, "Thank you to @HouseVetAffairs for inviting me to speak on the Improving VA Training for Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Claims Act. My bipartisan bill streamlines the MST claim process & ensures VA staff can provide veterans with the support they deserve."

Later that day, Kim highlighted the importance of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Radio Free Asia. She tweeted, "@RFERL & @RadioFreeAsia are vital to promote freedom & advance U.S. interests against authoritarian regimes. We should reform USAGM to its intended purpose as a soft-power tool that strengthens America’s national security."

Additionally, Kim celebrated the Department of the Interior's announcement of permanent pay raises for federal wildland firefighters, thanks to a continuing resolution by Congress. She posted, "Our wildland firefighters deserve to know that we have their backs as they have ours against deadly fires. I'm thrilled that @Interior is implementing permanent pay raises for federal firefighters thanks to the continuing resolution passed by Congress."
