Young Kim, a U.S. Congress member representing California’s 40th district, has recently shared her views on pressing issues via social media. Her tweets address the situation in Palestine, U.S. defense policy, and military sexual trauma (MST) claims.

On March 26, 2025, Kim commented on the situation in Palestine by stating that "Palestinians — who have long suffered under Hamas' repression & terror — know Hamas are cowards who prioritize power over their own people. Hamas needs to release ALL hostages & be held accountable."

Later the same day, she discussed national security and economic impacts of defense policies by tweeting that "U.S. defense protection strengthens our national security and supports our economy in Southern California and across the nation. I'm working on the @HouseForeignGOP Arms Sales Task Force to ensure America keeps our promises and leads on the world stage."

In another tweet from March 26, 2025, Kim addressed military sexual trauma (MST), noting that "1 in 3 women and 1 in 50 men experience military sexual trauma (MST) as a service member. I spoke at today's @HouseVetAffairs hearing on my bipartisan bill to ensure VA staff are equipped to process MST claims & provide those filing claims with the certainty they deserve."
