Young Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 40th district, shared her perspectives on various issues through a series of tweets on March 19, 2025. Her posts addressed topics ranging from reforms in national media agencies to veterans' affairs and local community engagement.

In her first tweet of the day, Young Kim emphasized the need for changes within the U.S. Agency for Global Media. She stated, "The time is now to revamp the U.S. Agency for Global Media and restore it to its intended purpose." The congresswoman argued that reforming rather than eliminating the agency would better protect national security.

Later that afternoon, she expressed her commitment to supporting veterans who have experienced military sexual trauma (MST). In her tweet, she noted, "Veterans filing MST claims already face unthinkable trauma. The examination process shouldn’t cause more pain." She announced her leadership role in advancing legislation aimed at improving training for handling such claims within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Towards the end of the day, Young Kim invited constituents to engage with her team during an upcoming event. She tweeted about this opportunity by stating, "Join Team Young tomorrow at the Laguna Woods City Hall Library’s Outdoor Activity Room for Mobile Office Hours if we can assist with any casework questions." This initiative was part of her efforts to remain accessible and responsive to those she represents.
