Kim mentioned she was reviewing details but expressed hope that "a path to peace may be in sight," emphasizing the importance of standing with allies and holding Russia accountable. "Vladimir Putin is a dictator who invaded Ukraine for his personal ambition at the expense of innocent Ukrainians’ lives."

In another tweet posted later that evening, Young Kim announced her vote to keep the government open by supporting a bill designed to prevent a shutdown while protecting commitments to seniors, veterans, and hardworking Americans without increasing taxpayer spending. She described it as a "clean, commonsense bill" and provided further information via an included link. "Today I voted to keep our government open."
