On February 21, 2025, Young Kim announced her leadership role in the bipartisan Hotel Fees Transparency Act. She stated, "The last thing Americans need when planning a trip are costly, unexpected fees. I'm proud to lead the The Hotel Fees Transparency Act, a bipartisan bill with @USRepKCastor, @RepRussellFry, & @RepKevinMullin to make costs transparent so families can better budget."
Later that day, she met with representatives from Goodwill Industries Orange County at their Lake Forest Center.
