Young Kim, a U.S. Congress member representing California's 40th district, recently shared several updates on social media. Kim, who has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Gil Cisneros, continues to engage with her constituents through various initiatives and events.

On February 11, 2025, Young Kim announced that her team would be hosting their weekly Chino Hills Mobile Office Hours at the City Clerk’s office. She invited constituents to visit if they needed assistance navigating federal agencies. "Team Young is hosting our weekly Chino Hills Mobile Office Hours at the City Clerk’s office tomorrow! Please stop by if we can help you cut through red tape with federal agencies."

Later that day, she expressed condolences for Sgt. Jacob Durham from Long Beach, who lost his life in a plane crash in the Philippines. Kim acknowledged the sacrifices made by military personnel and extended her thoughts to Durham's loved ones. "God Bless our brave troops who answer the call to serve & protect our freedoms... My heart is with the loved ones of @USMC Sgt. Jacob Durham from Long Beach who served at Camp Pendleton & made the ultimate sacrifice in a recent plane crash in the Philippines."

In another post on February 11, Kim thanked Dr. Ed Feasel, President of Soka University, for visiting and discussing legislative priorities as well as highlighting the university’s success in Aliso Viejo. "Thank you to @SokaUniv President Dr. Ed Feasel for coming in to highlight your university’s success in Aliso Viejo and share your legislative priorities."
