Young Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 40th district, recently shared insights and updates on her social media platform. The tweets covered various topics including community engagement, legislative priorities, and international relations.

On February 10, 2025, Young Kim highlighted a community event organized by the Andy & Aiden Safety Group in collaboration with Tustin Police Department and the Orange County Fire Authority. She expressed gratitude towards these organizations for their efforts to engage with the community and educate families and children with special needs on safety protocols. "The Andy & Aiden Safety Group hosted its first event with Tustin PD & @OCFireAuthority to engage with the community & teach safety protocols to families & children with special needs."

In another tweet posted on February 11, 2025, Kim addressed fiscal priorities within the California legislature. She suggested reallocating funds intended for future political campaigns towards aiding wildfire victims and tackling critical issues prompting residents to leave California. "Instead of spending $50 million on potential future political battles, the California legislature should focus on providing resources to the victims of wildfires and addressing pressing crises causing Californians to leave in droves."

Later that day, Young Kim welcomed emerging female leaders from Japan as part of ASEAN initiatives. In her tweet, she emphasized the significance of strengthening U.S.-Japan relations for mutual economic and security interests. Kim expressed enthusiasm for women leading efforts to counter regional threats and maintain an open Indo-Pacific region. "I welcomed @ASEAN's Emerging Female Leaders from Japan to discuss the importance of the U.S.-Japan alliance for shared economic and security priorities."
