Later that day, she addressed American energy policy in another tweet: "Reestablishing American energy independence is a win-win-win for our economy, national security, & environment. That's why I am proud to once again support the Protecting American Energy Production Act to unleash U.S. energy production & help America lead. It’s common sense."
On February 8, 2025, Young Kim expressed her support for legislation aimed at addressing the fentanyl crisis: "I proudly supported the bipartisan HALT Fentanyl Act today to give our law enforcement the tools they need to crack down on the fentanyl crisis and keep our communities safe."
