Young Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 40th district since 2021, shared several updates on social media recently. Her posts covered topics ranging from local achievements to international policy concerns.

On January 24, 2025, Kim congratulated Aliso Viejo students for their accomplishments in the Boy Scouts. She stated: "Congratulations to Aliso Viejo students Magic Champion, Ethan Do, Mugilan Nambi, and Luke Kesoglou of Boy Scouts Troop 700 for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout!"
