Young Kim, a U.S. Congress representative for California's 40th district, shared several updates on her Twitter account recently. These posts reflect her appreciation for community service, participation in local events, and remembrance of historical events.

On December 6, 2024, Young Kim expressed gratitude towards Chief Wiedensohler for his service to the communities within the CA40 district. She stated: "Words cannot express how grateful I am for Chief Wiedensohler’s service to our #CA40 communities. Wishing you & your family all the best in this next chapter!"

Later that day, she attended an open house event at Villa Flora in Tustin. Kim remarked on the occasion by saying: "My team had a fun time at Villa Flora’s open house in #Tustin celebrating the start of the holiday season. Formerly the Wilcox Manor, Villa Flora is a great place to host a community or family gathering."

On December 7, 2024, Young Kim commemorated the anniversary of Pearl Harbor with a tribute tweet: "On the 83rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, we remember those who were tragically killed & salute our Greatest Generation. We are the land of the free because of the brave, always."
