Young Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 40th district, recently shared several updates on social media. Her posts touched on community development, cybersecurity legislation, and infrastructure projects.

On December 2, 2024, Kim expressed her support for a new local business by welcoming Blind Coyote to the Yorba Linda community. She thanked the owners, Tony and Karl, for contributing to the community's culinary scene and creating opportunities for residents to enjoy "delicious food and make great memories." "Glad to help welcome Blind Coyote to our Yorba Linda community. Thank you to owners Tony and Karl for bringing a restaurant for our Yorba Linda community to have delicious food and make great memories!"

On December 3, 2024, Kim highlighted the importance of supporting small businesses against cyber threats. She noted that nearly half of small businesses experience cyberattacks. In response, she worked on the bipartisan SBA Cyber Awareness Act aimed at equipping small businesses with necessary tools to protect themselves from such threats. "Small businesses fuel our local economies, but almost half experience cyberattacks. That’s why I worked on the bipartisan SBA Cyber Awareness Act, which became law to support our small businesses & ensure the SBA has the tools protect them from cyberattacks."

Later that day, Kim informed constituents about upcoming traffic disruptions due to ongoing construction work on the 71/91 Interchange Project in Corona. The project will necessitate closures of the 91 Freeway for three nights a week over approximately two weeks, with additional closures anticipated in the new year. "The 91 Freeway in Corona will be closed for three nights a week for about two weeks, with more closures expected in the new year, as construction continues on the 71/91 Interchange Project."
