Young Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 40th district, has been active on social media addressing several issues of concern. Her recent tweets cover topics from disaster relief funding to international human rights and local constituent services.

On November 19, 2024, Young Kim addressed the issue of depleted disaster relief funding. She stated, "Disaster relief funding is now depleted, leaving communities recovering from recent wildfires & hurricanes without vital federal assistance. I helped introduce a bill with @USRepGaryPalmer to redirect unused COVID resources to the Disaster Relief Fund."

On November 20, 2024, she expressed her support for Jimmy Lai, a prominent figure detained by Chinese authorities. She tweeted, "Jimmy Lai is a symbol of freedom & hope despite the Chinese Communist Party’s oppression. I’m praying for his health & will continue fighting for his release from this unjust detention. #FreeJimmyLai"

Later that day, Kim informed her constituents about an event aimed at providing assistance with federal agencies. She announced via Twitter on November 20, 2024: "My team will be hosting our Chino Hills Mobile Office Hours today from 9am to 1pm at the City Clerk’s Office. If you need assistance with a federal agency, like the VA or IRS, we’re here to help you!"
