Young Kim, a U.S. Congress member representing California's 40th district, shared several updates on social media regarding community developments and legislative efforts. Her posts covered topics ranging from healthcare services to public safety initiatives.

On November 18, 2024, Young Kim expressed enthusiasm about the expansion of healthcare services in Orange County. She noted, "Exciting to see the Lestonnac Free Clinic in #Orange expand its life-saving services to patients in our community."

Later that day, Kim addressed the issue of organized retail crime affecting small business owners in Southern California. She announced her leadership role in a bipartisan legislative effort aimed at improving law enforcement coordination. Kim stated, "Unfortunately, Southern California small business owners know organized retail crime all too well. I’m leading a bipartisan bill to boost information sharing between law enforcement agencies to address these crimes & keep us safe."

In another post dated November 19, 2024, Kim acknowledged the return of Andrew Brown, a firefighter from the OC Fire Authority who was involved in an accident during the Airport Fire. She expressed gratitude for first responders with her comment: "I'm glad to see @OCFireAuthority hand crew firefighter Andrew Brown has returned home safely as he continues to recover from a fire truck crash during the Airport Fire. Grateful for our brave first responders who put themselves in harm's way for us."
