Orange County Sheriff's investigators have made public an updated forensic rendering of a Jane Doe from 2006, with the aim of identifying the woman.

In January 2006, an unidentified deceased female was found in an area off the Ortega Highway. The Hispanic female was estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old, weighed approximately 105 pounds, and had dark-colored hair that reached her mid-back. Distinctive features included a rose stem tattoo on her left forearm, recently manicured fingernails with a heart shape design on each nail, a surgical scar below her navel, and she was dressed in blue jeans and a black lycra top.

To develop this updated rendering, Sheriff’s investigators collaborated with Gaston De Cardenas, a forensic artist from the Miami Dade Police Department.

Investigator Lauren Felix is urging anyone who recognizes Jane Doe or has information related to her case to get in touch at 714-647-4579 or via email at coldcase@ocsheriff.gov. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to OC Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS (855-847-6227) or through their website at occrimestoppers.org.
