Kids Fun Zone presents: Art and Culture!
Kids Fun Zone presents Craft Kits, offering free art activities to explore new ways of self-expression. A new craft is released on the second Saturday of every month. Follow us on Instagram (@anaheimtownsquare) to get schedule of activities.
This month, join us in creating God's eye, a spiritual and votive object made by weaving a design out of yarn upon a wooden cross (often several colors are used!) They are commonly found in Mexican and Mexican American communities, among both Indigenous and Catholic peoples. God’s eyes are therapeutic, fun and easy to create!
Kids Fun Zone’s mission is to introduce creative outlets for the children in the communities we serve. Offering art, introductory classes to gardening, yoga, music production and other creative outlets. Due to COVID-19, we have directed classes to Instagram and with at home craft kits. An exciting new craft is announced every month with an instructional video released on IGTV (@anaheimtownsquare). Craft kits are limited, and reservations are suggested.
