Former San Clemente High School standout Sam Kowalski pitched a full game for the Sacred Heart Pioneers, who were defeated by the Harvard Crimson 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball matchup Wednesday, March 18, at Pioneer Park.
The matchup marked the first meeting this season between the Pioneers and the Crimson.
Kowalski pitched seven innings, allowing three earned runs, with four strikeouts and three walks.
The Pioneers are set to play the Harvard Crimson again at Pioneer Park on Wednesday, March 18, at 4 p.m.
