The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a man whose remains were found near Yorba Regional Park. According to officials, on October 11, a citizen walking along the Santa Ana River Trail discovered skeletonized remains and alerted authorities.

The deceased individual is described as a Caucasian male, estimated to be between 25 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and possibly with short brown hair. At the time his body was found, he was wearing an XL/XXL black T-shirt with the word “fuego” printed on the front, tan-colored “Dickies” pants size 38 x 34, white Nike “AirForce Ones,” and white socks. Investigators noted that although the clothing appeared oversized, the man himself is believed to have been of average size and build. No additional identifying information has been released.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have information about this case or who can assist in identifying the man to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
