On Sunday, April 27, former JSerra Catholic High School standout Kaylee Layfield’s current college team, the George Washington Colonials, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Rhode Island Rams.

The game took place at GW Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Rams this season.

The Colonials’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. at Loyola Softball Park against Loyola Ramblers.
