On Sunday, April 27, former Capistrano Valley High School standout Rhys Stevens’ current college team, the UT Arlington Mavericks, won 17-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Grand Canyon Antelopes.

The game took place at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Antelopes this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at Lupton Baseball Stadium at Williams-Reilly Field against TCU Horned Frogs.
