On Friday, April 25, former Santa Margarita Catholic High School standout Jake Lavin’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The game took place at Frank Eck Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 2 p.m. at Frank Eck Stadium against Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
