At 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, former San Clemente High School standout Jack Hagen and the Butler Bulldogs were defeated 11-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Morehead State Eagles.
Bulldog Park was the setting for the teams’ second meeting this season. The previous contest on Friday, March 6, saw the Bulldogs claim a 20-5 victory over the Eagles.
Hagen gave up four earned runs in two innings, adding two strikeouts and two walks.
The Bulldogs will face the Morehead State Eagles again on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at Bulldog Park.
